About
SANDRA

My intention with Pathway of the Soul is to create a sacred space.
A place to pause and reflect. And to listen.
Deeply listen to the Soul, the Deeper Self.
A place where you are accepted, you are welcomed, where you are.

Being close to one’s essence is a sacred place.

Being in a place where you can be real with yourself is a ‘holy” place, a place to draw closer to the mystery we sense but cannot yet grasp.

The teachers, counsellors, and mentors I met during my school, college, and theological studies, including anamcharadas, have shown me that it’s okay for darkness to be present; light will always follow. I truly resonate with it amid so many transitions in our lives. Change touches different levels.

The light is illuminating, it is being open and receptive to see the light. The light reminds me of the energy I generate. I have the idea that light is love.

I hope to make the most of what I have been given so far and to be in the service of my faith relationship, making the best of it.

Sacred spaces that have been important in my spiritual pathway – walking through a woodland trail, sharing stories with friends, and being open to the sun and light through the trees. I imagine you also have special places and people that serve as your personal touchstones and add value to your life.

Personal

I’m a mother of two grown sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law, and I also have the joy of being a grandmother.
I have a continued connection to loved ones who have gone to meet the Lord: my grandparents, mother, father, husband and dog, Bracken.
As C.S. Lewis writes, ‘their absence is like the sky, spread over everything.”
I have an “art studio” in my kitchen, where I can be found regularly.
I like to work with watercolours and facilitate Art as Meditation with spiritual seekers.
I am an active member of my church community

“There is a place in you which is the eternal place within you. The more we visit there, the more we are touched and fused with the limitless kindness and affection of the divine. The purpose of prayer is to see yourself with the same gentleness, pride, hope, and compassion that the divine presence shows you at all times. When we can embody that reflection of divine presence, compassion will come naturally to us.”
